The acoustic timber slats panel is hand-crafted, sourced from the highest quality materials. They fit with any design theme, from natural and earthy to sleek and contemporary. All the materials used in the crafting of Slat panel acoustic wood panels are environmentally friendly.

Engineered veneer: It's made of natural wood and dye into different colors

MDF slats: It's a medium density fiberboard and available in black or natural color. The slats create diffusion, which essentially means that they break the sound waves and thereby dampen the sound.

Baseboard: Our acoustic panel is made of recycled plastic, which means that we take a waste product and transform it into something useful. The panel absorbs the sound waves and dampens the sound.

FAQs of wood slat acoustic panels

How do I install acoustic wood panels?

There are 3 different options for installing our panels.

1. Directly glued to the wall.

We recommend using construction adhesive or grip adhesive.

2. Screw directly into the wall.

The panels can be screwed directly into the wall through the acoustic felt by using black screws for the black backing option or silver or gray screws for the gray backing option.

We recommend using a minimum of 9 screws per panel, fixed at fixed intervals of 800 mm in the direction of the panel width and in the direction of the panel length.

If installed into a ceiling, make sure they are screwed into the ceiling joists.

If going into plasterboard, for example, ensure that the correct fixings are used.

3. Screw the panels into the 45 mm battens.

For optimum acoustic absorption, we recommend screwing the 45mm battens into the wall and then screwing the panels directly to the battens through the acoustic felt.

If a material like rock wool is applied between the back of the panel and the baton, sound absorption class A can be achieved.

What do I do if there are sockets, windows, or other objects around that need to be installed?

Adjusting the panel to fit any object is very simple. You can cut the slats horizontally with a saw or cut the felt lengthwise with a sharp blade and apply it around any object on the surface.

On which surfaces can I install panels?

You can install panels on all surfaces including brick, concrete and plasterboard.

Are the panels fireproof?

The panels can be supplied with fire-felt backing on request. However, the facing material is not. Please contact us for more information.
